Cyber Range Conversion and Renovations
Project Scope
Nichols recently completed a comprehensive renovation project for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). The centerpiece of the renovation was the transformation of an unused courtroom into a state-of-the-art “Cyber Range” training facility. This modern space features raised access flooring, aluminum trusses, and glass partitions, creating a sleek, tech-forward environment.
The full interior renovation encompassed demolition, masonry, architectural finishes, MEP system upgrades, storefront glass installation, painting, and structural metalwork. Custom colors and design elements were thoughtfully integrated to reflect UMBC’s distinctive branding and identity.
