Nichols recently completed a recent tenant improvement project for Capital Badminton in Columbia, MD, as they expanded into an adjacent suite. #GTMArchitects

The suite expansion project involved several important upgrades to support the facility’s growth. Key improvements included the installation of four 10-ton rooftop HVAC units with advanced controls and spiral ductwork to enhance climate control and airflow. It received a comprehensive interior painting to refresh its appearance. Electrical enhancements featured specialized court lighting and connections for the new rooftop units. Additionally, a voice evacuation fire alarm system was installed, with a new panel, strobes, and speakers to improve safety and emergency communication.
