Project Overview
Baltimore City Department of General Services awarded this contract to Nichols to renovate the interior of an existing building to accommodate new ADA accessibility, a new sprinkler system throughout, upgrades to MEP systems, and minimal reconfiguration of existing partition layout.
Project Scope
Nichols’ scope of work will include new ADA accessibility (wheelchair lift, ramps, and existing driveway widening), new MEP fixtures, reconfiguration of the interior layout (including a concrete footer and foundation for ADA lift), new appliances, lead abatement and painting, cabinets, countertops, flooring, doors, and hardware. Upgrades of the existing MEP systems, including required housekeeping pads. Installing new wet sprinkler and fire alarm systems throughout. The demolition scope will include removing the existing driveway, fence, any damaged/missing windows/doors
